Each portrait is unique and custom to the individuals needs & desires. Each portrait is a collaboration between the artist and client. Marvin has worked through this process over many years and will help guide you through selecting the right reference images for your portrait. He's sensitive to honoring his subjects with respect and diginity. Call for your free consultaion.

A complimentary photoshoot/ photo reference review is available in a couple of different ways. #1 If you visit Marvin's studio and/or #2 via email or regular mail (if you send photographs please alert me via email or phone message. Photos may be sent to; PO Box 1606, Santa Cruz, CA 95061. I'll scan them for you and send them back asap). A complimentary phone, email or online video consultation is also available to review your reference photographs and if needed and help you attain quality photo-reference.

Mixing photographs of pets and/or loved ones is also available in order to compose the perfect portrait.

$500 = 14" x 11"
$700 = 24"x18"
$1000 = 30"x24"
Larger sizes and painted murals call for quote.

This price guide is for charcoal drawings on 100% cotton, acid free paper. The following estimates are based on a single figure with simple background.
